NO POVERTY
By providing employment opportunities to communities in India, Tanzania, and Timor-Leste through our agroforestry and climate mitigation projects, we help create a sustainable source of income for families, lifting them out of poverty.
ZERO HUNGER
Our agroforestry efforts not only restore ecosystems but also promote food security. By planting fruit-bearing and nutrient-rich trees, we support local food production, which helps combat hunger in rural communities.
GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
Trees are natural filters of pollutants, cleaning air and protecting water sources. Many species have medicinal properties, becoming an available option to be used by communities, conserving and using their indigenous knowledge.
GENDER EQUALITY
We promote equal opportunities for men and women in our project. Many agroforestry projects women are responsible for managing crops, plant nurseries and represent opportunities to generate income and empowerment.
CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION
Our projects often include water conservation techniques through agroforestry and land restoration. Trees help regulate water cycle and improve water infiltration, protecting water bodies from contamination also reducing soil erosion that can lead to water contamination.
AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY
Biomass generated by trees can be used as an alternative energy source instead of fossil fuels. By investing in solar panels and other renewable energy sources in local communities, we hprovide affordable, clean energy options to households.
DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
Agroforestry creates jobs in each stage, from plan, preparation, plantation, maintenance, harvest, process and inspires the creation of entrepreneurs by the use of secondary products for people in rural communities who often lack employment opportunities.
REDUCED INEQUALITIES
Agroforestry is based on local knowledge and interdisciplinary collaboration, characterized by its attractive cost - benefit rate and capacity to be applied in developing countries, ensuring that marginalized communities benefit from our initiatives.
